Professor Krysinski, who speaks or reads eleven languages, has an international reputation as an authority on world and comparative literature. He will discuss changing conceptions of literature from Goethe's time to our own.

In addition, Professor Krysinski will give a faculty-student lecture that afternoon entitled "The Novel: The Survival of the Fittest" from 3:40-5:00 P.M. in Gallagher Business 122.
