Professor Meyer enjoys an international reputation as an expert on terrestrial-aquatic ecosystem interactions. In her lecture, she will discuss the ecological condition of America's river system with an emphasis on the importance of the smallest streams in the network.
In addition, Professor Meyer will give a faculty-student seminar entitled "Forest-Stream Linkages in an Urbanizing Landscape" from 4:10-5:00 P.M. in North Underground Lecture Hall.
