Comptroller General Walker runs the Government Accountability Office, which audits the government’s books. On 7 March 2007, he told Steve Kroft of 60 Minutes that “the most serious threat to the United States is not someone hiding in a cave in Afghanistan or Pakistan, but our own fiscal irresponsibility.” In his lecture, he will describe the fiscal cancer that in his judgment threatens the very survival of the American Republic.
In addition, Mr. Walker will give a Seminar titled, "Keeping America Great" from 3:10-5:00 P.M. in Gallagher Business Building 123.
