Faculty Evaluation task force
Charge
The Office of the Provost would like to upgrade UM’s course and faculty evaluation systems from a paper-based process to an electronic platform. A secondary goal for this electronic platform is to collect information on faculty activity for other purposes, such as institutional assessment and accreditation reports.
This task force, composed of individuals involved in different parts of the course and faculty evaluation processes from different schools and colleges, will make recommendations to the Provost on how best to achieve this goal, in keeping with the CBA, unit standards, and other UM policies and procedures.
This task force was formed in late 2018 and will conduct its work during spring semester 2019.
