We hope that the information on this page will be useful as you start your UM career. If you don’t find the information you need here, a number of people on campus, including those who will speak at orientation events, are here to help you. Your dean and department chair, along with individuals within Human Resource Services and the Office of the Provost will be happy to help answer any questions you might have.
At The University of Montana we are focused on implementing the five strategic goals outlined in our strategic plan, UM 2020: Building a University for the Global Century. They are as follows: Partnering for Student Success, Education for the Global Century, Discovery and Creativity to Serve Montana and the World, Dynamic Learning Environment, and Planning-Assessment Continuum. As faculty members, teachers, researchers, advisors, and engaged members of the University community, you are key to helping our institution achieve these goals. I look forward to seeing you on campus and wish you the best for the 2012-2013 academic year.
