PARKING PERMITS

Request a parking permit through CyberBear. Select "parking" and follow the instruction. Upon completion of your parking selections print a temporary permit to display in your vehicle.

Your hanger or sticker will be mailed to your CyberBear mailing address. If you have any questions please give us a call at: 243-6132

Student Parking cost for the 2012-2013 school year:

Full year $185.00

Semester $92.50

Motorcycle $35.00

Other Permit Types:

CAR POOL - $10/each member

A car pool must have at least three commuting (not Residence Halls) members with three registered vehicles.  Both window and hanging permit must be displayed to be valid.

SUPER SAVER COMMUTER PARKING - $30

For time periods when park and ride buses are not running, and UM is open, Spring Break, Winter Break and Summer.  Pass good for decal areas only and must be purchased prior to March 30th.  Commuter pass holders are provided with one 5-day pass per semester which would allow parking on campus in the decal areas.

RESERVED - $555

Available on a 1st-come-1st serve basis.  Valid only in assigned reserved space.

GO GREEN PERMIT - $61.50

To encourage good ecological choices, electric, hybrid engines meeting EPA "SmartWay Elite" ALL STATES standards will be offered a "Go Green" discount. Only sticker permits will be issued to specific vehicles.  Qualifying vehicles are listed at the following web site: http://www.epa.gov/greenvehicles/Index.do.  More information available from the Office of Public Safety.
