REGISTRATION

All vehicles parked on campus must properly display current campus vehicle registration between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, throughout the year. Permits are available online from your Cyberbear account or at the Office of Public Safety. Visitor parking and temporary passes are available at Public Safety, at Griz Central cashier in the Lommasson Center and in the University Center at the Source. 

Any change of registration must be reported immediately to the Office of Public Safety.

* Partial refund available for year permit.
Refunds available until 3rd week of semester only.

PERMITS - Mountain Campus Faculty/Staff/Student

A - REGULAR

Year . $ 185.00
Semester (Fall/Spring) $ 92.50
Summer $ 61.50

Valid in regular permit required lots. Semester permits offered to students only.

B - 2 WHEEL VEHICLES $ 35.00
For two wheel motorized vehicles, valid only in two wheel parking areas.

C - CAR POOL $ 10/each member
A car pool must have at least three commuting (not Residence Halls) members with three registered vehicles. Both window and hanging permits must be displayed to be valid.

CM - COMMUTER PARKING $ 30.00
For time periods when park and ride buses are not running, and UM is open, Spring Break, Winder Break, Summer. Pass good for decal areas only must be purchased prior to March 30th.

G - GO GREEN PERMIT . $61.50
To encourage good ecological choices, electric, hybrid engines or vehicles meeting EPA “SmartWay Elite” ALL STATES standards will be offered a "Go Green" discount. Only sticker permits will be issued to specific vehicles.

P - RESERVED . $555.00
Available on a 1st-come-1st serve basis. Valid only in assigned reserved space.

DAY PASS $3.00
Daily parking permits, valid in regular, decal required lots only and sold at the Office of Public Safety, University Center Info Desk, UC Box Office, Campus Recreation and Griz Center in the Lommasson Center.

FIVE DAY PASS $10.00
A daily parking permit that is valid for five non-consecutive days.  This permit is sold at the Office of Public Safety, University Center Info Desk and Campus Recreation.

HOURLY PAY $1.00
Hourly pay stubs are available from the dispensers in the pay lots. Valid in hourly pay metered lots.

SERVICE & DELIVERY $20.00
For vendors and businesses with needs for short-term (30 minute maximum) pick-up/deliveries. Faculty and staff may be eligible for this short-term parking permit at no charge with job-related parking needs (must be displayed with a valid campus vehicle registration).

LOST/DAMAGED PERMITS $10.00
Lost or stolen permits are registered with the Office of Public Safety (See Parking Regulations & Policies Section I, 2).

SUBSTITUTE FREE
For A or P permit owners who need to park an alternate vehicle on campus for a limited time.

RETIRED FREE
For retired University Faculty and Staff with 15 years of service; valid in regular "A" permit lots. One pass per retiree issued only to the retiree with the lifetime Griz card.

DISABILITY FREE
For current permit owners, issued by the Office of Public Safety. Disability hangers may be issued to persons with a temporary disability, but final approval from the Director of Disability Services may be required. Visitor vehicles bearing federal, state or municipal issued disability hangers or license plates are recognized and approved for parking in all disability parking areas, and must be accompanied by a current university permit or day pass or hourly stub.

QUICK STOP PARKING FREE
For pick-ups, deliveries, and errands provided at convenient locations on campus; maximum parking time is 20 minutes.(Unless otherwise posted). Vehicles are permitted one use per area per day.

VISITORS:
All visitors need to purchase a day pass, temporary or hourly pay parking permits for the duration of their stay on campus.

PARK AND RIDE LOCATION:

MOUNTAIN LINE BUS SERVICE:
Free to users showing a valid UM Griz Card.

UNIVERSITY VILLAGES - Permits issued by the University Villages Office, are valid ONLY in University Villages parking areas. Additional guidelines for the University Villages are posted in each apartment.

LEWIS AND CLARK - Permits issued by the Residence Life Office, are valid ONLY in University Villages parking areas.

MISSOULA COLLEGE  - Permits are issued by the Missoula College are valid ONLY on the Missoula College campus grounds. Only one permit will be issued per individual. Students and staff utilizing both campuses will need both permits.
