Linnea Rose Mills

On November 1, 2020, my daughter Linnea Rose Mills, almost 19 years old, was killed during a SCUBA class in Glacier National Park.

So the bio that she wrote about me in 2018 is even more poignant now.

If you want to know more about Linnea, who will always inspire me, with her remarkable spirit and commitment to a better world:

Here’s her obituary:

And here are two videos that begin to capture the ripples of her loss. And how even after leaving this world she continues to help other people … in this case by making scuba diving classes safer.

a.       A video made by our local news station immediately after her death:

b.       A YouTube video released July 2022.  We have never heard of or met this guy, but he powerfully captures both the essence of what happened and how the tragedy could reform scuba training classes and save the lives of others.
