Update from lab alumnus Julie Cunningham – snowshoe hares and bighorn sheep

We wanted to share a quick update and a recent photo from lab alumnus Julie Cunningham, who was one of Scott’s first undergraduate Honor’s Thesis students.   Her project was on “Connecting movement paths of snowshoe hares in snow to survival in fragmented habitats,” research which will soon be featured in a new lab publication in Ecoscience (we’ll let you know when it comes out).  Julie is currently a wildlife biologist with Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, where she recently performed a bighorn sheep transplant to restore a native species to its historic winter range!
