The Office of Research and Creative Scholarship is pleased to announce on-campus interviews for the position of Director of Office of Sponsored Programs. The Director reports to the Vice President for Research and Creative Scholarship and provides oversight for the lifecycle of sponsored programs administration. Primary responsibilities are to (1) provide leadership to and oversight of the OSP staff; (2) establish policies and procedures to ensure the University is compliant with all federal, state, and sponsor regulations, (3) ensure that the University accurately follows federal cost accounting standards and meets audit requirements, and (4) provide advice and guidance to the University community to ensure continued growth of sponsored activities.
The Office of Research and Creative Scholarship hosted open forums for each finalist on January 14-15, 2020, including separate forums for Departmental Research Administrators (DRAs) and faculty. The open forums included a 15-20 minute presentation by the candidate on their sponsored program leadership and management style, followed by questions and answers for the remaining time.
