The University of Montana supports business and industry by providing guidance and data to help decision makers in their corporate deliberations.

  • The Montana World Trade Center (MWTC) works to increase international trade through public-private partnerships, business networking, and student education.
  • The Montana Environmental and Engineering Consortium (MEEC) works to develop local, national and international project and business opportunities for Montana companies with expertise in natural resources, environmental engineering, energy development and global change. The service sectors primarily include: Engineering and Smart Technology, Ecological, Water Resources, Climate/Global Change, Oil, Gas and Mining.
  • ExportTech Montana is a project between the Montana World Trade Center and the Montana Manufacturing Extension Center that have launched a customized export training program to help Montana companies develop and build export sales. The program brings together the state’s best experts on exporting and export resources in one location.
  • The Bureau of Business and Economic Research (BBER) is a research department within the School of Business Administration that produce a variety of economic and industry data including annual economic forecasts for the United States as well as Montana, its industries, and counties.
