Student-Produced Videos Aim to Help Peers at UM Succeed
KPCN: The Peer Connection Network is a student-based video production company at The University of Montana where students create tutorial and informational videos to help their peers succeed.
Founded in 2010, KPCN’s student staff strives to provide a visually engaging, articulate form of communication between the campus community. Collaboration between students of several different majors provides a dynamic group of producers, directors and actors who are adamant about increasing the success rate and overall UM experience of their fellow students. KPCN is funded through the Office for Student Success.
Today the KPCN YouTube channel features more than 40 videos encapsulate everything from registration to graduation. The channel has received more than 15,000 views. The most popular videos include: “How to Pay and Finalize Your Registration Bill,” “How to Forward Your UMConnect Email” and “How Pizza and Burritos Can Help You Get Started On Your Paper.”
