Individuals holding a baccalaureate degree must meet these requirements by completing the courses listed above or demonstrate course equivalency. For an endorsement in the major teaching field of Theatre, students must also gain admission to Teacher Education and Student Teaching and meet all the requirements for certification as a secondary teacher (see the Curriculum and Instruction section of the current version of The University of Montana
Catalog).
The demand for teaching in this field is limited. The required second endorsement (either a teaching major or teaching minor) should be in a field in high demand.
