PROFESSIONALS WEEKEND 2013 IS APPROACHING! MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

Professionals Weekend is Theatre & Dance's on-campus chance to seek out and be considered for summer work with professional theatre companies from the region. It’s open to anyone; however, non-Theatre & Dance students must register with Administrative Associate Erin McDaniel (erin.mcdaniel@umontana.edu) prior to being given an audition or portfolio-review slot as well as pay a nominal registration fee. Registration for the event will close at noon on Friday, January 25.

Acting auditions and callbacks will be held on Saturday, January 26, in the Masquer Theatre beginning at
8:30A. Actors should prepare a TWO- or TWO-AND-A-HALF-MINUTE audition: Two contrasting monologues (one Shakespeare, one contemporary) totaling no more than two minutes, plus a 30-second show tune if you choose. Your time WILL begin with your introduction.

Design/Technolgy interviews/portfolio reviews will be held on Sunday, January 27, on the third floor of the UC beginning at 9A. Individuals will present their portfolios/resumes in ten-minute sessions two three separate rooms of attendant companies and UM Theatre & Dance faculty/staff.
