AUDITIONS FOR SPRING TERM'S THEATRE PRODUCTIONS

Auditions will be held for Tongue of a Bird by Ellen McLaughlin and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee by William Finn and Rachel Sheinkin (Conceived by Rebecca Feldman). Tongue of a Bird (5F) will be directed by John DeBoer; rehearsals will begin February 1, 2010. The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (7M, 6W) will be directed by Jere Hodgin, music directed by Myles Nardinger, and choreographed by Heather Adams; rehearsals will begin February 21, 2010. 

  • Please sign up for an audition slot on the sign-up sheet found on the main Theatre & Dance callboard (across the hall from PARTV 131).
  • Three-minute slots are available between 8:30 am and 12:30 pm.
  • Please prepare a single contemporary monologue of no longer than two minutes. If you wish to be considered for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, you should also prepare 16 bars of a show tune and bring sheet music in the key in which it's to be played. Piano accompaniment will be provided.

Callbacks will be Sunday, December 6, 2009; details will be provided after auditions on Saturday.
