The University of Montana Dance Program is dedicated to creating and maintaining active relationships with the University, Missoula, and greater Montana, as well as local and professional dance communities. Community initiatives are integrated into the dance curriculum and are implemented through the outreach, educational and creative projects offered through Montana’s Model Dance Education Project (MoDE), the CoMotion Dance Project, Flagship programs, dance classes for children, dance for people with disabilities, contact improvisation jams, and impromptu improvisational happenings.
