Linda Parker is a native of Missoula, MT. She began studying dance with Fifi St. Clair-Hut at the age of eight. Linda attended the University of Utah’s Ballet Department and received her graduate degree from the University of Hawaii-Manoa. It was at the University of Hawaii that Linda became a convert to modern dance. After completing her MFA, she moved back to Utah to dance with Repertory Dance Theatre (R.D.T.). She worked with R.D.T. for seven years, touring nationally and internationally and performing modern dance masterpieces choreographed by pioneers such as Isadora Duncan, Doris Humphrey, and José Limón. Linda has been teaching for The University of Montana since 1997. Linda is the co-owner of DancingFlix.com, an online dance DVD rental service. In the summer of 2008, DancingFlix purchased an online fitness DVD business and became
KineticFlix.com.
