American Indian Mentoring

The American Indian Peer Mentor Program was formed over 10 years ago to help new and transfer students adjust to student life at The University of Montana.  Students are provided a student mentor who helps guide and support new students in a variety of ways during their first semester of enrollment.

How and where can I sign up?

UM's American Indian Student Services office is now hosting the American Indian Peer Mentor Program. Salena Hill and Ann Douglas, Program Coordinators, would love to speak with Native Students about being mentors or mentees. You can call AISS at 243.6306 or e-mail Salena or Ann. Their office is located in Lommasson 227, just down the hall at the east entrance to Griz Central.
