Sam Nasset
Sam Nasset is a graduate of Hellgate High School and Upward Bound (class of 1998). Throughout high school, Sam was actively involved in Upward Bound.
Following high school graduation, Sam was employed by Upward Bound for the next four years—both in the office during the academic year and in the dorms during the summer programs.
Sam graduated from the University of Montana in 2002 with bachelor’s degree in Anthropology. With an earned GPA of 3.72, Sam gradated with the distinction of “high honors.”
Since finishing his degree, Sam has been employed by the Good Food Store in Missoula—a local cooperative based upon the principals of healthy living through organic products and support of the local farmers and ranchers—passions Sam promotes in all facets of his life.
He is also an accomplished musician. For the past 9 years, Sam has been playing guitar professionally throughout the Pacific Northwest in two bands—one that features his father Russ as mentor and band leaders. He is a serious chicken picker.
