Academic Year Services
All students meet weekly with their local Upward Bound tutor/counselor to receive the following services:
- academic advisement
- tutorial assistance in math, science and English
- financial aid counseling
- career counseling
- ACT test preparation
- community service
- assistance for seniors in securing admission to the college of the student's choice
- assist seniors with securing financial aid and scholarships necessary to finance a college degree
All expenses are paid for the students.
*TRiO UB is funded each year at $337,500, 100% of which is federal funds. More information on the federal TRiO programs is available on the US Department of Education website.
