I’m excited to be part of TRiO-Upward Bound at the University of Montana. I moved here from Moscow, Idaho, where I worked with TRiO-Student Support Services at the University of Idaho. Previously, I was part of the TRiO-SSS and TRiO-UB projects at Flathead Valley Community College in Kalispell, Montana. My favorite part of working with students is watching them discover how they learn and seeing them apply that knowledge to new learning challenges.
I studied forestry at The University of Montana and education at University of Montana Western, and I recently completed a Master of Education degree from the University of Idaho.
The most important things in my life are friends and family; growing and cooking from my own vegetable garden; outdoor recreation like camping, hiking, hunting, and fishing; and my work in education.
