As a Browning High School graduate, I went on to The University of Montana where I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in Native American Studies. I also completed a master’s degree in Intercultural Youth and Family Development. My professional experience has been in higher education, specifically in the areas of recruitment and retention of American Indian students.
While in college, I had the privilege of joining the Upward Bound family after working as a counselor for three summers. I also became involved with TRIO through Student Support Services and the McNair Scholars Program. The support I received from these programs helped me to become a successful college graduate. Thank you TRIO!
I truly believe that with hard work and determination, you can achieve anything! With that in mind, shoot for the moon and you’ll land among the stars!
