Originally from Missoula, I joined Upward Bound as a student in the spring of 2006, and graduated from Hellgate High School in the spring of 2008. I went on that summer to participate in Upward Bound's Bridge Scholars Program, and began full time enrollment at the University of Montana in the fall of 2008. I began working as a tutor for Missoula Upward Bound that same fall, and have loved every minute of it.
Currently, I am a senior at the Davidson Honors College, pursuing a major in Spanish and a minor in English as a Second Language. Someday I hope to be either a high school Spanish teacher, or an English teacher in a Spanish-speaking. country. I also work for the Residence Life Office during the academic year. For now, I love my job with Upward Bound and look forward to what the future holds for the program.
