Peer Advising Program

 

Peer Advisors:
  • Specially trained students committed to helping fellow students understand and successfully complete the necessary academics for graduation.

  • Serve as representatives of the University of Montana, as well as mentors for their advisees.

Walk-In Advising is provided for every student on campus to help with understanding general education requirements and filling out graduation papers.

Recruitment begins in February
  • Attend an informational meeting to learn about the opportunities, responsibilities, commitments and details of Peer Advising.
  • Eligibility - must have completed at least one semester at UM and must have a GPA of 3.0 or more.
