All students live on the UM campus in dormitories for six weeks (mid June to late July). During that time period the students will:

Service Learning

  • attend classes stressing "hands-on" experience in math, science, and English
  • attend an afternoon elective of their choice
  • travel on the weekends to tour both in state and out-of-state college campuses
  • experience wilderness camp outs; rafting trips; social activities; and tours of museums, zoos, historical sites, and science centers.

All expenses are paid for the students, plus they receive weekly stipends.
