Originally from Houston, Texas, I moved to Montana in 1991 to fulfill my dream of living and working in a beautiful state. I have attended the University of Montana since 1999 and graduated in 2006 with a Masters in Integrated Arts Education.

I began working with Upward Bound in summer, 2005, as the Program Assistant. So far I have met many wonderful students and counselors currently in the program, as well as those from previous years who still love to drop in and say 'hi' to the program and people who made such a difference in their lives. Seeing so much devotion from Upward Bound alumni evokes pride in me. I feel deep gratitude to work with a program so meaningful to students' personal lives as well as their educational opportunity.
