Ilean Gladstone, Academic Support Specialist (Browning)

Hello Everyone,

My name is Ilean Gladstone. I am an alumnus of The University of Montana. I graduated from the University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration. I have worked in the business and in education fields. I have found the greatest job satisfaction and fun when I work with students. I have recently moved to Browning after marrying my college sweetheart, Chet Gladstone. In my spare time I like to read, watch TV, go on walks with my husband and two dogs. I look forward to working with Upward Bound. (Some of the students' parents may remember me since I was a summer Upward Bound counselor in 1987!)

I have family all over the state of Montana. My late dad, Darryl Hill was Crow and my mom Judy Gray is Salish. I grew up in St Ignatius, Missoula and Harlem, Montana. My adopted dad, Emery Gray, is Gros Ventre. I feel lucky to have ties with so many tribes and their cultures. I now have Blackfeet husband and am learning about the Blackfeet people and their culture.
