Wrong! At the University Dining Services, there are many positions available in a wide variety of job tasks. Student workers perform tasks that include kitchen prep, floor re-up, cashier, pizza cook, and barista specialist, just to name a few. Dining Services also offers advancement opportunities. The Student Management Program offers positions such as Student Supervisor and Student Manager. Student Administrative Support positions are also available. What are the benefits of working for Dining Services?
Here's how it works. If you work one shift, of two or more hours per day, you are provided with a free meal directly following your shift. This can allow you to purchase a smaller meal plan based on only having to pay for two meals for each of the days worked instead of three.
