The thirteenth annual College of Visual and Performing Arts Odyssey of the Stars—A Celebration of Artistic Journeys will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013. Odyssey of the Stars was conceived to honor outstanding UM arts alumni and to tell the story of their artistic journeys. Odyssey also serves as the premier benefit event for the College of Visual and Performing Arts Scholarship Fund, raising dollars for scholarships to support promising students in their own artistic journeys. 

 

Several levels of donor gifts, both corporate and individual, serve to underwrite the cost of this event and increase the amount of scholarship dollars to award to talented arts students.  The levels of support are listed below, along with the benefits of each level. Donors in all of these levels are listed in the Odyssey of the Stars program. Premier Sponsors receive a full page in the program dedicated to their organization.

Platinum  Gifts of $6,000 and up.  
Should you or your company elect to underwrite this performance at the $6,000+ level, we would be delighted to recognize you in any or all of the following ways: designation as a primary corporate underwriter of the Odyssey; dedication of a full-page advertisement in the Odyssey program, half page display ad in the seven Theatre and Dance production publications, and recognition of you and/or your company’s support from the stage. Up to twelve tickets to the event with premier reserved seating are included. We would hope that individual or corporate representatives might be present to be recognized publicly during the event on March 16, should they so desire. Platinum level donors and their guests are invited to attend the champagne reception honoring our featured alumni. The reception occurs immediately following the Odyssey.

Gold  Gifts of $3,000 to $5,999. 

Gold level donors receive recognition in the Odyssey program, up to ten tickets to the event with reserved seating, and are invited to the champagne reception with the guest artists following the performance.

Silver  Gifts of $1,000 to $2,999 in cash or services. 
Silver level donors receive up to eight tickets to the event, a listing on the donor page of the Odyssey program, and are invited to the champagne reception with the guest artists following the performance.

Bronze  Gifts of $500 to $999 in cash or services.
Bronze level donors receive up to six tickets to the event, a listing on the donor page of the Odyssey program, and are invited to the champagne reception with the guest artists following the performance.

 

Sponsors  Gifts of $125 to $499 in cash or services.
Sponsors receive two tickets to the event, a listing on the donor page of the Odyssey program, and are invited to the champagne reception with the guest artists following the performance. A four-ticket sponsorship may be purchased for $225.
