ADA Seating

Wheelchair and wheelchair companion seating, as well as limited mobility seating, is available in most UMArts venues.  Please contact the UMArts Box Office at (406) 243-4581 for more information.  When purchasing UMArts tickets online, access available ADA seating for reserved seating productions by entering promo code “ADA” in the promotional code box. 

PARTV Center: Montana Theatre (map)

Wheelchair seating, with companion seating, is available in the upper row of the Montana Theatre.  Please note that this seating is accessed by elevator. 

Seating for patrons with limited mobility is available for patrons who are able to navigate a few stairs.  Please contact the UMArts Box Office at (406) 243-4581 for more information.

PARTV Center: Masquer Theatre & Open Space

As seating configurations in the Masquer Theatre and Open Space vary, please contact the UMArts Box Office at (406) 243-4581 for more information on ADA seating options.

Dennison Theatre (map)

Wheelchair seating, with companion seating, is available on the Main Floor in the Dennison Theatre, primarily in Row J and Row K.  Limited mobility seating is also available.  Please contact the UMArts Box Office at (406) 243-4581 or Dennison Theatre at (406) 243-2853 for more information.

School of Music: Music Recital Hall

Elevators are available at the PARTV Center and School of Music. If you need assistance locating an elevator at a venue, please find a venue staff person to assist you.

Hearing Assistance and Interpreted Performances

Open Caption Performances

Open Caption performances of most School of Theatre & Dance productions occur on the 2nd Thursday of the production. Open Caption performances utilize a screen close to the stage to present captions of spoken or sung dialogue.  To access Open Caption seating when ordering tickets online, enter promo code “CAPTION” in the promotional code box.  Please contact the UMArts Box Office at (406) 243-4581 with inquiries about show dates and Open Caption seating locations.

Interpreted Performance

Sign language interpreted performances are sometimes available.  Please contact the UMArts Box Office at (406) 243-4581 for more information.

Assisted Listening Devices

Assisted Listening Devices (ALD) are available for patrons with hearing impairments at most UMArts venues. The devices may be checked out free of charge for the duration of an event. Patrons will be required to leave a valid driver’s license or valid UM Griz Card until the device is returned. Please check out the device at the venue's Box Office. If you have questions regarding ALD use, contact the UMArts Box Office at (406) 243- 4581.

Service Animals

Animals, with the exception of service animals, are not allowed in any venue. These animals are welcome provided they are on a leash or harness at all times (unless expressly waived by management). If special accommodations are required, please contact the UMArts Box Office at (406) 243-4581 or Dennison Theatre at (406) 243-2853.
