9th Annual Day of the Dead Giant Steamroller Print Event
Wednesday, October 28th, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, in front of the University Theatre
Come and join the School of Art Printmaking Students, the UM campus community, local artists and students from neighboring elementary, middle, and high schools to create works in collaboration, bringing together the 9th Annual Day of the Dead Steamroller Print Project. Works created during this day-long print event are showcased in Missoula's Annual Day of the Dead Parade, and also exhibited in downtown Missoula during the month of November.
Artists will be printing large scale 4'x8' woodcut prints, which will then be featured in the Day of the Dead Parade. T-shirts, cards, and mementos will be for sale.
For history, images, links, and information regarding the 9th Annual Steamroller Print Project, visit www.steamrollerprintproject.blogspot.com or email james.bailey@umontana.edu.
See the Grizzly Marching Band
The Grizzly Marching Band has unveiled the new uniforms! What better way to add some spring into your step than a new outfit! This upgrade has brought them in alignment not only with the athlete's uniform, but with the uniforms of the dance team, cheerleaders, and our favorite mascot, Monte!
Enjoy the energy, action, and excitement of a Grizzly Football Game Day and then (like the first warm day after a Missoula winter) add to the experience with the spendor of the Grizzly Marching Band. Oh, may the sun shine on our Grlzzlies!
