Faculty Positions
Faculty Support is needed to compete successfully for outstanding professors.
- An outstanding faculty is critical to the educational process. Having professorships, fellowships, visiting scholar/artist funds will create new courses and research, expand library resources and expose students to wide-ranging thought.
- Through the campaign, the John J. Craighead Chair in Wildlife Biology has been fully funded. Five positions – Endowed Chair in Cardiovascular Sciences, Kittredge Visiting Professor, Flathead Lake Limnology Professor, endowed Chair in Neurosciences, T. Anthony Pollner Distinguished Profesor in Journalism – have been partially funded and 11 other faculty support funds ahve been created or enhanced.
