Academic Programs
For UM to provide the educational accouterments that make it the "university of choice" for some 14,000 students requires funding for both current programs and endowed funds.
Current funding comes from the Excellence Fund and allocations are made according to institutional priorities. Each unit also has priorities for the $100 million Invest in Discovery campaign.
Individual UM academic units have identified special needs requiring private support.
