Opportunity Funds
While individual schools and colleges may attempt to build endowments for specific purposes, all areas of the campus recognize the need for Opportunity Funds, endowments which provide income for changing priorities. Opportunity Funds empower the dean, director or chair to determine how the income is to be spent each year. They provide maximum flexibility for the school or college and assure donors their gifts always support a top priority. Minimum amounts, depending on discipline:
- Opportunity Fund $20,000
- Book Acquisition Fund $25,000
