The University of Montana’s flagship campus in Missoula produces an educated, aware and trained citizenry for the state of Montana and beyond. In addition to educational and research endeavors, UM strives also to be an integral component of the Missoula community, providing a gathering space for all Missoulians. University Relations is partnering with the Mountain Broadcasting Foundation to produce this event for the community.
The 2014 Easter Eggstravaganza is set for 1 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014, on the UM Oval.
Children ages 9 and younger are invited to join the Easter Bunny and UM mascot Monte to search for more than 50,000 pieces of candy and eggs filled with prizes and certificates for UM experiences. One lucky kid in each age group (0-2, 3, 4-5, 6-7 and 8-9) who finds an egg with a special coupon will win a brand-new bicycle. Grab your Easter basket and join the fun.
The Mountain Broadcasting Foundation currently is seeking monetary sponsorships and in-kind donations for the 2014 Easter Eggstravaganza.
