Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Only 450 tickets to the football game are available for Family Weekend attendees this year.
Football game tickets will be sold in two different packages that cost $50 each. There is a strict limit of four packages per family. Package options are:

Individual tickets for the Pregame Brunch or the Pregame Tailgate cost $15 each and also will go on sale Wednesday, Sept. 2.
We invite those who are not attending the football game to join us in the University Center Theater to watch the Grizzlies on the big screen and enjoy a free nacho bar. Prizes will be given out as well and registration is not necessary for this event.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30
8 a.m.: Registration -- Pick up your Family Weekend information packet and find out what’s on tap for the weekend. Grand Foyer, University Center, Third Floor. (Registration is open until 5 p.m.)
Noon-Midnight: Free Games -- Free Play at UC Game Room – Free billiards, pingpong, and Xbox with Family Weekend name badge. Second floor, University Center.
Noon: Davidson Honors College Reception. Students and parents can meet with Honors College staff to learn more about courses and programs offered through the DHC. Coffee and juice will be provided. Davidson Honors College Lounge. Free.
1-3 p.m.: College Sessions -- Four of UM's most popular professors -- according to students -- will give 15-minute lectures on timely and interesting topics. University Center Theater. Free
3:30 p.m.: Tour -- Nature walks led by UM Wildlife Biology Program graduate and doctoral students along the scenic Kim Williams Trail bordering campus and the Clark Fork River. Meet in the Grand Foyer, University Center, Third Floor. Sign-up sheets at registration tables.
4 p.m.: Tour -- UM historic walking tour led by UM Advocates. You'll find out more about the state's 115-year-old flagship institution of higher learning and get a glimpse into its future. Meet in the Grand Foyer, University Center, Third Floor. Sign-up sheets at registration tables.
Dinner on your own.
7 p.m.: Movie - "Monsters vs. Aliens." Rated PG. Show your Family Weekend name badge and get free popcorn at the concession stand. University Center Theater. Free.
7:30-9 p.m.: Stargazing Under the Big Sky -- Sip hot chocolate and enjoy other refreshments while you discover why Montana is called "Big Sky Country" with UM astronomer Diane Friend and a pair of her students as your guides. If it's a clear night, it's optimum for stargazing, but wear warm clothes because it will be cold. (Event will be canceled in the case of inclement weather.) Sponsored by ASUM. UM Oval. Free.
7 p.m.: Volleyball -- Cheer on the UM women as they take on Portland State in the Adams Center West Auxiliary Gymnasium. Free admission with Family Weekend name badge.
7:30 p.m.: Play -- "Eurydice," a UM School of Theatre and Dance production. "Eurydice" is playwright Sarah Ruhl’s contemporary take on the classic Greek myth of Orpheus, but through the eyes of the story’s tragic heroine, Eurydice. Masquer Theatre, PAR/TV Center. Cost is $14 for the public, $12 for students and seniors and $8 for children 12 and under. For tickets, visit the Theatre and Dance Box Office in the PAR/TV Center or call 406-243-4581.
7:30 p.m.: Concert -- UM Symphony Orchestra plays classical music and more. University Theatre. Cost is $10 for the public and $5 for students and seniors. Tickets will be sold at the door.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31
All day: Free bus rides -- Mountain Line, which runs Missoula's bus system, will offer free rides to the public all day in honor of UM Family Weekend. Stops are located across Missoula, including several on campus. A schedule and map of the routes is available at www.mountainline.com.
9 a.m.: Registration -- Grand Foyer, University Center, Third Floor.
10 a.m. Pregame Tailgate -- Reservations required. Look for the Family Weekend banner in Tailgate Booth No. 16. Menu: burgers, grilled chicken breasts or brats and sauerkraut with chips, potato salad and your choice of beverage.
11 a.m.: Pregame Brunch -- Reservations required. Buffet breakfast, welcome by President George M. Dennison and entertainment. The president will give away a $1,000 tuition waiver to one lucky family. Must be present to win. University Center Ballroom.

Do I need to purchase a package ticket for my student?
Yes, if you want your student to sit with you at the football game and have a meal ticket for the pregame brunch or pregame tailgate. Student football tickets only allow seating in the student section, and your student's meal plan does not cover the Family Weekend brunch or tailgate.
Can my student attend the game if I don't purchase a package ticket for him/her?
Yes. Student tickets to UM football games are free, and 4,000 will be available for the Family Weekend game against Weber State. Student tickets for Family Weekend will be available at 7:45 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, at The Source in the University Center. Tickets usually go fast, so your student will want to get in line early.
Can my student attend the pregame brunch or pregame tailgate if I don’t purchase a football package ticket for him/her?
Yes. You may purchase individual tickets to the pregame brunch or tailgate for $15 each when tickets go on sale on this Web site at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2.
If Family Weekend packages are sold out, can I still attend the football game?
Yes. When securing a student ticket for the Family Weekend game, your student may also buy one guest pass for $10. Guest passes are available only at The Source, and 400 will be available for Family Weekend. Those with guest passes will be required to sit in the student section. Families also may purchase tickets through the Adams Center Box Office. Tickets cost $30 each and are available at http://www.montanagrizzlies.com or by calling 406-243-4051. Only single tickets are left for the game against Weber State, so family members will not necessarily sit together.
