Lifelong Lessons
Until recently, there was little research on how service learning affects students and their communities. Now, Kelly Ward, assistant professor in the School of Education at UM, has survey results that show the impacts of volunteerism.

Covering Government
UM's Community News Service sends a graduate student to Helena every two years to report on the Montana Legislature for the state's 70-plus weeklies. The student gets an incomparable education, and citizens get vital news from the Capitol.
