Tom Webster, Director
Tom Webster is the Director of the University Theatre and Adjunct Instructor at the School of Business Administration's Entertainment Management. Mr. Webster is an alumnus of The University of Montana and has worked on the campus since 1994. Mr. Webster has been promoting and producing entertainment events throughout Montana and the Pacific Northwest since 1985. He was a founding member of the Missoula Blues and Jazz Society, and is currently on the boards of the Montana Performing Arts Consortium, the Missoula Cultural Council, and First Night Missoula, along with serving as a consultant for various arts and entertainment organizations. He and his wife Lori are the proud parents of two children, Cooper and Emma.
Pat Nelson, Technical Director
Pat
Nelson is a native-born Montanan from Fortine, Montana. He holds a Bachelor
of Fine Arts in Drama from The University of Montana and a Master of Fine
Arts in Drama Design and Technology from the University of Georgia. His
lighting design credits include John Prine, Jimmie Vaughan, Greg Brown,
Taj Mahal (University Theatre); Stop
Kiss (Flathead Valley Community College); Amadeus
(University of Georgia); The Complete
Works of Shakespeare - Abridged (Highlands Playhouse, Highlands,
NC); The Age of Discovery (Georgia
Repertory Theatre, Athens, GA); and an assistant design of 1940's
Radio Hour (Theatre in the Square, Marietta, GA). He has also toured
with the Montana Repertory Theatre as an electrician. Pat enjoys hunting,
fishing, snowshoeing, and he spent eight years working for the United
States Forest Service as a wildland firefighter.
