We live in the Northern Rockies -- the headwaters of several of the continent’s great river systems: the Missouri, Colorado, Saskatchewan, and  Columbia Rivers.  Clean snow melt from these mountains provides pure waters to the lands below, so headwaters should receive a high level of protection.
