Call for Participation

The Fourth Annual Montana University System’s Extended Learning Institute is currently inviting proposals for the 2012 event. XLi2012 is seeking presentations that spark dialog and explore new horizons in online education. Please join colleagues from around the state and region in sharing innovative approaches and ideas. Propose a topic that’s exciting to you. Inform, interact and inspire!

The deadline for proposal submission is January 13, 2012. Conference registration fees are waived for presenters. Please submit proposals via XLi’s online submission process: https://www.umt.edu/ce/secure/xls/xli/.

1. Brief biographical sketch for each presenter (25 words maximum per presenter)

2. Institution

3. Presentation title

4. Short (fewer than 50 words) description, which will be posted on the XLi website and in the program

5. One-page proposal explaining the session purpose, content, intended audience, and session type

Submitted proposals may be edited up until the deadline of Friday, January 13, 2012.

You will receive notification of proposal acceptance by Friday, January 27, 2012.  If accepted, you will be asked to verify, by email, your commitment to make the presentation. It is the responsibility of the key presenter to notify additional presenters of the proposal status.  Conference registration fees are waived for presenters.
