Ritchie Boyd, Academic Technology Specialist, Office of the Provost, Information Technology Center, Montana State University
Ritchie is an Academic Technology Specialist in the Office of the Provost and the Information Technology Center at Montana State University in Bozeman. His activities in higher education have been focused on developing and supporting broad based instructional technology opportunities, technology-enhanced learning spaces, and e-learning resources for faculty and students, in addition to creating and delivering professional development opportunities for faculty, K-12 teachers and administrators. Among his current interests are emerging technologies and social networking tools, and their impact on education and society. Prior to joining MSU, Boyd was involved in faculty development and support for instructional technologies at the University of Wyoming and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has a B.A. and M.A. in Geology and Geophysics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
