Course Information

The online Addiction Counselor Program consists of six 3-credit courses. The schedule for upcoming semesters is below. See the course descriptions for prerequisite information. Students who have completed the required prerequisite courses may register for as many courses as they can accommodate in their schedule. Academic advising is required prior to registration.

Courses are taught fully online and there is no traditional classroom component for any of these courses. There are no specific times that you will be required to be online. You will be expected, however, to comply with weekly due dates and times for assignments.

Courses are offered through The University of Nevada-Reno. After your registration is complete you will receive a welcome packet from UNR which will include instructions for logging in to your courses and contact information for technical support at UNR.
