The Tax Practitioner Institute provides 810 minutes of instruction, of which 60 is ethics content.  The Insitute qualifies for the following Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits for the following professions:

  • Certified Public Accountants
    Qualifies for 16 hours with the Montana Board of Public Accountants (preapproval not required)
  • Certified Financial Planners
    Approved for 14.5 hours by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards
  • Enrolled Agents
    Qualifies for 15 hours with the IRS (UM Continuing Education is Qualified Sponsor #606)
  • Realtors
    Approved for 14 mandatory hours by the Montana Board of Realty Regulation

About the Instructor

Photo of instructor, Robert RehkampRobert (Bob) Rehkamp, CPA, has almost 30 years of experience in both public accounting and industry, serving businesses and individuals in the areas of taxation, accounting, and business consulting. He is a Certified Public Accountant with a B.S. degree in accounting from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He owns a tax and accounting practice in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Bob is a frequent speaker for the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP), the University of Illinois, and has presented seminars and workshops in over 40 states.
