Students who intend to enroll only in online courses may opt to change their student status to "Distance." Doing so will result in reduced tuition and fees. However, it is important to note that Distance students are not eligible for The University of Montana Health Insurance, discounts on tickets for athletic events or access to Campus Recreation Services. Distance students are not eligible to take on-campus courses. To change your status, download, complete and sign the Distance Learning Change of Status Form. The form must be completed again to change your status back to "On-Campus". Your status may be changed only one time per semester. Submit the completed form to Enrollment Services at LO103, or by fax: 406-243-5711.
