Travel in the city of Missoula is quite convenient. Missoula is a bicycle-friendly city and has many bike lanes through the city and surrounding areas. Many students walk, with shopping, dining and entertainment being within a mile or two of campus. The city and University also run free bus services to many of the popular locations around town, including University apartments, golf course and athletics facilities. Otherwise, campus is self-contained and students can find plenty of places to study, work and recreate right here.
