Personal Summary

After completing undergraduate work in chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley, David received his Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from the School of Pharmacy at the University of Washington in 1974.  He then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Biochemistry at Brandeis University, and was on the faculty of the College of Pharmacy at North Dakota State University, before joining the faculty at The University of Montana in 1986.  His major interests are in curriculum development and undergraduate teaching.
