IN-PERSON INSTRUCTION PROTOCOLS DURING COVID-19

  • A COVID-19 Stay Healthy Kit will be provided to all students; kit contains two masks, hand sanitizer, a micro-cloth for cleaning, and a disinfectant spray bottle
  • Face coverings are REQUIRED at all times while inside College building
    • Face coverings need to cover your nose and mouth
  • Physical distancing is expected at all times while inside College building
  • You are responsible for the safety/sanitation of your space
    • Use COVID-19 Stay Healthy Kit sanitizer and cloth to spray and wipe down your classroom seating area; additional sanitizer available in Main Office
  • Remember to wash hands or use hand sanitizer while on campus (sanitizer available in all rooms)

Front End Web Developer

Bitterroot College's Front End Web Developer Certification Program is being offered as an in-person program. However, if the local COVID-19 situation changes, the program could transition to remote delivery via live, interactive videoconferencing (equipment and internet access would be provided to students as needed). Full or partial refunds will NOT be provided if a transition to remote delivery occurs.

Bitterroot College Front End Web Developer Certification program is a Workforce Training program which does not require college admission.

The Bitterroot College Front End Web Developer program is designed to prepare students to function as web application developers in multiple technical, business, and healthcare settings. Web developers serve roles with job titles such as Web Site Developers, Web Applications Developers, Web Designers, and Web Masters. The purpose of this program is to prepare students to design and develop websites, design and develop web applications so that users can perform specific tasks, and maintain websites so they continue to meet user needs.

Part A of the program covers basic web concepts and web coding concepts for the student new to web development. Part B of the program covers basic web coding using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Upon completing the program, you will be able use HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery to perform front-end development tasks. Program prepares students to sit for the Microsoft MTA 98-375 – HTML5 Application Development Fundamentals Exam.

Bitterroot College Front End Web Development Certification program provides 150 hours of classroom instruction.
