Beta Alpha Psi - Delta Kappa Chapter

Founded in 1974, Beta Alpha Psi is an international honorary organization for financial information students and professionals that enhances the educational experience by providing interaction with professionals; professional development programs on campus; regional and national meetings; and community service opportunities. The Delta Kappa Chapter of the University of Montana has achieved national and professional recognition as an outstanding accounting, finance, and information systems student organization, achieving Superior Chapter status for 13 consecutive years ending in 2015.

Purpose: To recognize outstanding academic achievements in the fields of accounting, finance, or information systems and promote the study and practice in professional fields related to these disciplines.

Finance Club, UM

Purpose: To assist in the professional, educational, and social development of college students actively interested in these fields, and encourage interaction between business executives, faculty, and students of Business and Finance.

Graduate Business School Association - GBSA

Purpose: To promote collaboration among graduate students, COB, and the Missoula business community.

American Marketing Association (AMA)

Purpose: The goal of the UM-AMA is to unite University of Montana marketing students for the purpose of gaining hands-on, real-world marketing experience, enhancing networking skills, and building lasting relationships.

The Griz SHRM Chapter

The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), formerly called the American Society for Personnel Administration (ASPA), was founded in 1948 by a group of just 28 individuals who anticipated the need for a national personnel organization.

SHRM creates better workplaces where employers and employees thrive together. As the voice of all things work, workers and the workplace, SHRM is the foremost expert, convener and thought leader on issues impacting today’s evolving workplaces. With 300,000+ HR and business executive members in 165 countries, SHRM impacts the lives of more than 115 million workers and families globally.

The UM Griz SHRM Chapter began in the Spring of 2021 and is a club open to all UM students looking to development their professionalism, improve soft skills, and network with HR professionals that are interested in recruiting UM graduates.

Our Mission: The Griz SHRM Chapter creates opportunities for students to network and collaborate with Human Resource Management professionals, propelling them into exciting internships and careers.

Montana Information Systems Association

Purpose: Montana Information Systems Association (MISA) is an organization founded by Information Systems students to network and organize events that will help students succeed in the Information System field. Joining MISA is a great way to supplement your learning, find employment opportunities, and help fellow students in need. It also looks great on a résumé!
