UM Conference & Event Services is composed of two complementary teams:

Conference Management Team

Located on the top floor of the James E. Todd Building

The Conference Management Team handles events of all formats and sizes, ranging from 25 to more than 1,000 participants. Every event brings its own set of unique challenges, from dealing with budget constraints to managing registration and logistics. We pride ourselves on meeting those challenges and making your job easier and your event more enjoyable. Our professionals ensure every detail is worked out, provide you with expert advice, and fine tune the occasion to match the personality and budget of your group.

We provide comprehensive planning and management services to both on-campus and off-campus groups. Our conference management team has more than 50 years of combined experience in the professional management of conferences, trainings, symposia, continuing education offerings, meetings, and workshops. Event Support & Scheduling Team

Located on the top floor of the University Center

While you are focused on planning an event, we are focused on making it a success. We are a team of experienced, connected event coordinators ready to help you navigate and take full advantage of the many campus venues and services available for your event, from the beginning stages of planning to the day of your event.

Different levels of service are available individually or combined – whatever works best for you.

  • On-Campus Accommodations: Assistance with planning on-campus lodging, meals and recreation opportunities.
  • On-Campus Event Management: Assistance with conference and event logistics including space reservations, catering, audio-visual, parking, transportation, shipping and more.

Bringing events to campus provides more social and learning opportunities for the people of Missoula and enriches our community.

Both teams work closely with a number of local vendors and campus partners to provide you with the best venue, most delectable catering, hassle-free parking, and low-cost printing services for your occasion–all while keeping a close eye on your budget. UM Conference & Event Services has spent decades building strong relationships with hotels, restaurants and vendors in Missoula and throughout the state, and we pass the benefits of these relationships directly on to our clients. We also work cooperatively with other UM campus departments including UM Dining, UM Housing, the University Center and many other facility and service providers to ensure the smooth and successful execution of conferences and events.
