Bookstore Operations for Fall Semester

Greetings,

I hope you had a fantastic summer! The Bookstore at UM is looking forward to fall semester.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, operations at the Bookstore will be little different this upcoming term. Below is some important information to know before you go to the Bookstore.

The University of Montana Bookstore hours of operation are:

10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday, Aug. 12-14.
10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 15-16.
8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, beginning Aug. 17.
10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, only.

The Bookstore strongly recommends students place textbook orders online at montanabookstore.com. Students can choose “in-store pickup” or have the books shipped to them. Orders over $49 ship free. Shipping times are typically one to two business days when shipping within Montana. Out-of-state shipping may take longer.

Other important information:

Our textbook aisles will be closed to customers as we are unable to be socially distanced within the space we have. We will offer counter service at the textbook desk where we will be able to pull the books you need and answer any questions. Please have a copy of your course schedule with you.
The Bookstore will have one entrance and one exit. Please use the doors located inside the University Center.
Web order pick-up will be at the north entrance (near the tennis courts). Please note that the north entrance will only be for web order pick-up and not for entrance or exit from the store.
A maximum of 85 customers will be allowed in store at a time to maintain social distancing.
Face masks are required in the Bookstore.
Hours will be updated on montanabookstore.com, as well as on Google. While we will have a closing time listed, if there are customers waiting in line outside the store, we will remain open until each customer has been served.

We will do everything we can to serve each student to the best of our abilities. If you have questions, email michael.corbin@mso.umt.edu or call 406-303-3690. We will get back to you as quickly as possible.

 Thanks,

Michael Corbin
